The Liquidity Ecosystem provides blockchain payments for everyone with the off-chain Liquidity.Network and the Liquidity DEX, a non-custodial off-chain exchange.

Project stage

Beta version

Detailed description

The Liquidity.Network is operational under wallet.liquidity.network and supports millions of users securely, reducing transaction costs significantly and enabling the mainstream adoption of blockchain. Liquidity is trustless, does not require rigid funds to be locked up, supports off-chain rebalancing, easy routing and free channel establishement.

The Liquidity Ecosystem stems from a symbiosis between our two novel innovations: the Liquidity Hub and REVIVE.

The Liquidity.Exchange is designed to not hold any funds (non-custodial), while performing atomic swaps off-chain. As such the exchange is resistant to blockchain congestion and excessive transaction fees. Scalable to centralized exchange throughput and beyond.

Problem

Typical off-chain payment channels face several limitations: they are economically broken due to substantial rigid deposits, expensive channel establishment, no offchain payment channel rebalancing, complex routing structures, etc.

Solution

The Liquidity.Network is a non-custodial, blockchain settlement system supporting off-chain payments (e.g. Ether/ERC20) and the Liquidity.Exchange is a non-custodial off-chain exchange.

Features

  • Enabling Micro-payments and Small Value Transfer (SVT): Negligible transaction costs.
  • Instant Payments and Exchange: Send and exchange crypto instantly. No waiting time.
  • No rigid locked funds: Allocated funds, can be used to pay any other member of the Liquidity.Network.
  • Simplicity: Simple design, avoiding complex routing.
  • Transparency: Liquidity.Network actions are auditable.
  • Privacy: Enhanced transaction privacy.
  • Security: Payments are secured by the blockchain.
  • No Custodian: Payments and Exchanges are secured by the blockchain. Funds owned by the user at any point.
  • Flexible Fees: Fees paid by either the sender or the recipient.
  • Generic: Built on Ethereum. Portable to any smart contract blockchain.
  • Peer Reviewed Research: Papers published in the biggest academic IT Security conference (CCS 2017).

    • Token symbol ? Token symbol — a shorten token name. It is used during an ICO and after the coin listing at the cryptocurrency exchanges. : LQD
    • Fundrasing target ? Fundraising target — the maximum amount of funds to be raised during an ICO. When it is reached, the developers stop selling the tokens because they do not need to raise more money for the project development. : 8,000,000 USD
    • Token type ? Token type — a platform for a startup launch that influences the stability of blockchain operation, the speed of transactions and the fees. :Ethereum (ERC20)
    • Soft cap ? Soft cap — the minimum amount of funds to be raised for the project development. Sometimes when the soft cap has not been reached, the money is returned to the participants. : NA
    • Role of token ? Role of Token — type of token depending on the opportunities it offers to its owner. Utility tokens give their owners a right to use the project services, security tokens are aimed at bringing profit, and currency tokens are a money substitute. :Utility token
    • Total supply ? Total supply — a total amount of tokens that will be released by the developers. :100,000,000 LQD
